Mysie, Minty and I returned from Queensland on Wednesday. I had to go over on business and the family tagged along. We spent a couple of days in Brisbane before heading down to the Gold Coast. I’ve never been to the Gold Coast before, it’s an interesting place. Bill Bryson comments in his book Down Under; nearly everyone you meet elsewhere in Australia will tell you: ‘Oh, you must see the Gold Coast. It’s awful’. We didn’t see the awful side, but it’s certainly different from Sydney.
After returning home for one day, I’ve had time to unpack our bags, do some laundry, and pack the bags again. I’m off to Israel today on another business trip, but leaving Minty and Mysie at home this time.
