Permanent Residency

I’m finally getting around to applying for permanent residency. Even though I’m married to an Australian, it’s still a long and complicated process for me to get residency in Australia. I’m currently on a temporary working visa which is due to expire in November, so I need to get a move on.

I need to get a medical examination, blood tests, chest x-rays, certified copies of everything and complete countless forms. Also, as I have lived in the US, I have to get a copy my fingerprints (for the FBI) and a police check from the UK. It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth the effort!
