You may have heard that the MV Pasha Bulker, a 76,741 tonne deadweight Panamax bulk carrier ran aground on Nobby’s Beach in Newcastle (Australia) last month during a severe storm. It was eventually refloated on Monday.
Despite being warned by the Newcastle Port Corporation to move out to sea to escape the approaching storm, the Pasha Bulker did not heed the warning. Check out these photos taken from the carrier during the storm…
