Harbour Walk

Last weekend we decided to try out the Sydney Harbour Walk. It turned out to be a hidden gem of Sydney. It’s a well planned route which stretches over 26km and follows the harbour in a full circle across all seven bridges. We covered most of the route over the three-day weekend. If you live in Sydney or are just visiting, you should definitely try sections/all of it. There’s a helpful map and information guide from the NSW Dept of Planning website.

However, a word of caution; if walking with a stroller, avoid the ‘reserve’ areas. They might appear as a nice green blob on the map, but we quickly learned that maps can be decieving — we ended up carrying Minty in her stroller down steep paths, rock faces, along narrow tracks and got more of a workout than we bargained for!
